FlagPlus Football uses the following tiebreak criteria to resolve any deadlock in the Division 3 standings:

TO BREAK A TIE BETWEEN TWO TEAMS

If two teams have the same amount of points in the standings, the following steps are taken in order, to break the deadlock

1. Number of wins

2. Head-to-head, if applicable.

3. Divisional Record, or Divisional Winning Percentage if the two teams do not have the same number of divisional games played. (Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both teams)

4. Points Allowed

5. Point Differential (+/-)

6. Strength of Schedule (cumulative record of opponents)

7. Coin Toss

TO BREAK A TIE BETWEEN THREE OR MORE TEAMS

If three or more teams have the same amount of points in the standings, the following steps are taken in order, to break the deadlock and place the teams in the proper order.

1. Number of wins

2. Divisional Record, or Divisional Winning Percentage if the two teams do not have the same number of divisional games played. (Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both teams)

3. Points Allowed

4. Point Differential (+/-)

5. Strength of Schedule (cumulative record of opponents)

6. Coin Toss

If three or more teams are tied in the Conference standings, but two of those teams are also tied for their respective Division's lead, a two-way tiebreaker scenario will be used to determine the Division Leader, and the remaining teams will then be put into another tiebreaker; a two-way tiebreaker if two teams remain, or a three-way or more tiebreak if three or more teams remain.

The only difference between the TWO-WAY and THREE-OR-MORE tiebreaker is the use of the Head-to-Head scenario.

Please note that winning percentage amongst tied teams in three-team deadlocks, or +/- within multiple matchups (when teams face each other twice) are not used in FPF.
